I am a multimedia artist with strong skills in both traditional and digital media. I have been creative for as long as I can remember. First, I got fascinated with drawing and painting, then sculpture. Now, I am majoring in Digital Media Art. I am a senior this year, and I have taken almost all art classes required for my major. For instance, Art 74 was an introductory course to digital media which covered the basics of Photoshop and Dreamweaver software as well as provided a general understanding of Digital Media Art. Art 101A was an Adobe Flash programming course. Art 101B was a digital video course that covered filming techniques and sound. In Art 103, we looked at various forms of art as systems. Art 106 was a Human Machine Interface class which covered some ideas about cyborgs and their presence in our lives; additionally, it was a course in programming and electronics. Some of the science courses that I have taken are chemistry, physics, biology, algebra, and trigonometry. During this semester, I am taking Modern Art History, History of Photography, Physics of Animation, and Seminar in Digital Media Art. After graduation, I look forward to finding an interesting and challenging job and living happily ever after :)
