Here’s an unusual for me artwork. I used sanguine on paper for this skull drawing.
Skulls are great for practice drawings, but they also have an interesting aesthetic. I’ve had this idea of skulls and flowers in my head for a while now. It might now be that new or original, but I feel like I really want to draw some skulls and flowers!
For now, I only got a few skull drawings by themselves. As soon as I sort my blog out and finish up all of the side projects, I’m drawing skulls with flowers! It will probably be spring by that time anyway XD
This one I drew from life during one of the portrait workshops. I like the values and overall feel of this drawing. I might finish the background later and frame it.
