First of all, I’d like to wish everyone a happy New Year! The last year was challenging and trying, let’s hope that this year will go easy on us. Of course, the first week of this year already hints that it might not be the case, but all we can do is hope for the best. That will be my motto for the year as I’m tied of feeling hopeless.
In the spirit of a new year, I decided to update my logo and branding. The colors stayed the same, but the mermaid’s tail was reworked the most. The original idea was to work around this simplified geometric shape that would resemble a mermaid’s tail. However, as I was busy with other projects, I haven’t really achieved this before and just used a quick drawing of the tail for several years. Now, for the first time in my life, I’m actually happy with my logo! I’ve already updated design on all of my websites, shop, blog, and photography gallery. I think it looks great and quite sophisticated. Here’s a preview which I’ve put together using Pantone’s colors of the year. Now, they’re not exactly used in the color scheme of my design, instead they just represent the year 2021. May it be a good one!
