In this 10-minute figure drawing I pictured a standing female figure. I like the overall gesture and proportions of this figure. The pose is quite simple which is why I got so much done in such a short time. I think this is one of the poses that I can draw with ease from memory now.
I used charcoal on newsprint paper. By the way, look at the yellowing of the paper around the edge. That’s why this paper is so cheap, it’s not exactly archival even though it’s acid-free. That’s another reason I’m digitizing these drawings, it’s like having a digital backup.
