Here’s another quick portrait of a girl. Sometimes I carry several pens, and this time I decided to use bright blue to accent some parts of the drawing. The main part is the heart that this girl is wearing on her neck. The proportions are somewhat off on the torso, and I wish I’d made more definition on the face. I think it turned out too flat, and making some parts like eye sockets darker would have helped. Overall, it’s a good practice attempt.

My formal education includes a BFA in Digital Media Art from San Jose State University. After moving to Texas, I started to focus on my fine art skills and figurative art in particular.
