Front and Back Figure Drawing

In this front and back figure drawing two standing females are depicted. Both are standing with weight shifted to one leg. Front figure has one arm on the neck, the other one is behind back. The back view figure has her arms relaxed along her body.

Here’s one more duo, a front and back figure drawing. These two gestures show seem the same standing pose on the first glance, but they are very different emotionally. While, the back view figure seems very relaxed and static, the front view one has a lot of movement to it. I find the interest is always in the movement. That’s why here I like the front view figure more, it feels more alive, and the other one looks like it slightly gave up. Both of these probably took about 10 minutes to draw. The front view figure seems more defined, and I bet it’s because I found that pose to be more interesting.
