In this set of under 5-minute poses, one figure is well defined. But the other one is pretty much a ghost. I either got distracted and didn’t finish the second figure, or the pose wasn’t favorable. The first figure took 5 minutes, and the second one — under 3. I used charcoal on newsprint paper.
The 5-minute figure is fairly well proportioned and I like the flow of the pose. I might adjust the leg position just a little to ground the figure. At the same time, that half-finished motion gives a dynamic feel to this pose, so I might keep it as is. When I post these, I keep seeing great potential and possibility of finished artworks. But I wonder, if I’ll ever have the time to actually work on these ideas.
