Fantasy creatures is one of the reasons I love polymer clay. With this medium, it is possible to bring fantasy to life, and not just on a flat surface, but in 3D! This collection is an experiment with pumpkin and gourd shapes, and the idea of adorable monsters. Most of these are small figurines and meant to be desk buddies or treasured collectibles.

It is handmade out of polymer clay. His eyes are made of glass, and the whole body is varnished to preserve the paint. The figurine is about 1 ¼ inch tall, and about 1 inch wide. This cute goggle-eyed pumpkin figurine is unique! It is handmade out of polymer clay and glass, painted, and then varnished. The irises of the eyes of this little guy are made of glass. The figurine is about 1 ½ inch tall and about 1 ½ inch wide. This little guy is a trickster! He came from a pumpkin patch via the hands of a trusting visitor. Hi! My name is Oksana Ossipov, and I’m a visual artist and photographer. I was born in Ukraine and currently reside in the area of Dallas, Texas. My formal education includes a BFA in Digital Media Art from San Jose State University. After moving to Texas, I started to focus on my fine art skills and figurative art in particular. I studied for 5 years under Michael Mentler at the Society of Figurative Arts. Through my life, I’ve also acquired a multitude of skills that include web development, sculpting, photography, art studio and business management, and baking awesome blueberry scones!
